Is Senator Villar buying his way to the office of the President?

Saturday, April 10th, 2010

I can’t help to notice the recent survey of Presidentiables, that he nose out Noynoy Aquino by a fraction. Sen. Villar is endorsed by who’s who in the entertainment businesses like Willie, Dolphy and Sarah, plus his network of businesses through out the entire Philippines and practically help lots of OFW in distress. He typically reminds me of the former ex-President Joseph ‘Erap’ Estrada who by this time is again running for the President of the Philippines. Is senility hit him already that he cannot remember he was ousted by People Power2 way back in 2001. Erap uses the poor & marginalized sector of society to catapult him to the office of the President then by using the infamous words “Erap para sa mahirap”. In his term of office, ang mahirap lalong naghirap. During his inaugural speech he uttered “walang kaibi-kaibigan, walang kumpa-kumpare, walang padrino sa aking gobyerno” and with the onslaught of the Abu Sayyaf Sepadan hostage crisis in 2000, he again uttered his most famous words “‘wag ninyo kong subukan, pupulutin kayo sa kangkungan”. And the rest is history. Sen. Villar is a business man, I don’t mind him helping and giving out donation or relief as a private citizen but not one who is vying for the title of the President of the Philippines. What if he become President, will all his gesture and generosity stop there? How much did he paid Sarah Geronimo in the campaign ads, a staggering Php 2 million? He is also connected with Willie’s Mall and all people behind Sen. Villar are paid whether directly or indirectly for this coming election. Other politician see this as an investment, so when one assume the office it is time to ripe the fruits as they say. I hope not true with Sen. Villar.

I admit I vouch for Noynoy/Roxas tandem. Noynoy who is recently criticize/attack/slam/ lambasted/insulted/down graded by others even here. Others contented that ‘wala naman siyang nagawa’.(I myself was attacked/insulted in the forum been called an idiot, I don’t mind as long as the one who called me that can prove he or she is a genius) Parang madali lang ang maging Senador sa Pilipinas like Sen. Lapid who just sit in his stool all day and go home when he likes it. Sen. Aquino introduce also some laws and currently pending, so whatelse do you think he should be doing flying to rescue stranded passengers? He is not superman. Maingay lang ang mga tao kay Sen. Villar because he got lots of money. Noynoy all he got is his name, uncorruptible and the legacy of the Aquino family. Kulang pa ito some of you might say. Sabi nga sa Filipino, ibigay mo na ang kamay mo, pati braso kukunin pa rin. Filipinos have no satisfaction, that is why it is not a surprise the Philippines is like this. Both of these candidates have a ghost they have to face once either one assume the Presidency. Sen. Villar about the C-4 road project scandal and Noynoy hacienda Luisita. So what do you think?
