End Of The World: The Beginning

Monday, July 12th, 2010

When I was still young I had a dream. As I was sleeping I tranced into a revealing vision. Initially, I never cared about this vision treating it as just a dream and hence, would never happen, until these recent days that I came to remember about it and analyzed what would that message mean.

Sometime in 1972 in a Police Headquarters of one of Laguna’s chartered cities, two police patrolmen were casually exchanging views as to who would be the next President of the Philippines after the term of Mr. Marcos. Both were anxious to know who could really beat Marcos should he ever allow the government to hold presidential election. The policeman who seemed to be a pro-Marcos believer insisted that Marcos shall remain forever, considering his enormous political power and martial law rules. In the middle of the discussion, an old man in the late 70′s who was keeping an ear on the discussion politely cut in and delivered his dialogue:  “It is imminent that President Marcos shall step down from the power comes few years ahead. As a matter of fact, there would still be four more Philippine President after him.  To include Mr. Marcos’ surname initial, four more presidential initials would follow which shall compose the particular word “MARIA”.  The fifth initial which stands for “A” is a lady who would be the last president of the Republic.  During the lady president’s incumbency, the Philippines shall be the starting place of the world catastrophe which may eventually turn to the end of the world. But several more years prior to its catastrophic occurrence,  the Philippines shall first soar into a great nation and shall be considered as one of the richest countries in the world. The fact is, there would still be three more presidents under the lady president’s  administration”.

In my younger mind of 21 (now I’m over 50′s),  I was there wondering whether this old man was telling the truth or not considering that it was still Mr. Marcos’ incumbency and nobody ever knew whether there would really be another election at that time  There were also some lingering questions that I set aside at that time:

What does the abbreviation “M.A.R.I.A.” stand for;?
How is it possible for the Philippines to become one of the richest countries in the world considering the present economic crisis;
Why should there be three more presidents under Ms. A’s presidency?
And why of all countries should the small Philippines be the source of the world catastrophe which may eventually turn to the end of the world?

1.  What does the abbreviation “M.A.R.I.A.” stand for;?

Today in the year 2009, I now am able to analyze what are all those things mean. The word “MARIA” stands for “Marcos”, “Aquino”, “Ramos”, “Estrada”, “Arroyo”. Why? Estrada does not have initial of  “I”.  Well, the answer is simple, in the countryside the word that spells “MAREA” is spoken and sounded as “MARIA”, that is self-explanatory.

2. How is it possible for the Philippines to become one of the richest countries in the world considering the present economic crisis;

The Philippines, as a small third country which is indulged in serious economic and political crisis, may still have a chance to prove that it can possibly be one of the richest countries in the world considering its great volumes of precious reserves and mineral deposits particularly, the so-called “Deuterium: The White Gold of the Philippines”.

According to Major Tom/June 17, 2008, (Deuterium: The White Gold of the Philippines, The Economy Science and Technology),  “the Philippines is identified to hold the greatest amount of deuterium deposit, somewhere in the area known as Mindanao Trench, the part of the Pacific Ocean just off the shores of Surigao. Deuterium is most prevalent in an area more widely known in the whole world as The Philipppine Deep. In the Freeman news article (dated August 2004), Dr. Anthony B. Halog, the Filipino scientist working at the Sustainable Technology Office of the Institute for Chemical Process and Environmental Technology, and the National Research Council of Canada described the Philippine deuterium wealth in this manner:

“A big deposit of 868 miles long, 52 miles at widest point, and 3 miles at deepest point, replenished by nature 24 hours a day after deuterium travels more than 12,000 kilometers from Central America to the Philippines through the span of the Pacific Ocean when Planet Earth turns on its axis from West to East in unending perpetual motion.”

And it’s potential in this breathe: “At 12 million barrels per day capacity priced at US$7.00 per barrel, this is US$84 million per day or US$30.66 billion per year, enough to wipe out all existing foreign debts of the Government in one year, revenue-wise in foreign exchange.”

3.  Why should there be three more presidents under Ms. A’s presidency?

Under the present territorial setting, federalism issue and the conversion into state (just like in America) of the three major island groups of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, is presently being raised for debate in the Philippine Congress/Senate? (Please correct me if I’m wrong.)  What is Federalism  by the way?

It is a system of government in which a written constitution divides the powers of government on a territorial basis. The division is made between a central, or national, government and several regional or local governments. Each level of government has its own area of powers. Neither level, acting alone, can change the basic division of powers the constitution makes between them. Each level operates through its own agencies and acts directly on the people through its own officials and laws.  (Reference: http://firstclass.rfsd.k12.co.us/~mschneiter/Fad/legislative_1_federalism.htm)

Now we see picture.  There can be three more presidents under one over-all president should there be a conversion of these three major island groups of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao into the so-called state. As in the U.S., a state is headed by the Governor and as in the case of the Visayas island  in the Philippines, it would be headed by the Visayas President, and so with Luzon and Mindanao  for that matter.

4.  And why of all countries should the small Philippines be the source of the world catastrophe?

Ever realized that the late movie actor Fernando Poe, Jr.  did not make it to the Presidency despite his popularity? It may be a will of doom to let President Arroyo stay in power and experience the end of the world. Since the Philippines is set to become one of the richest countries in the world for its sky-rocketing deuterium production, there is an imminent danger of resentment among other countries, focusing enviously on the Philippine healthy economy while the others experience economic global crisis. Such perspective may eventually generate conflict among four big nations. With the use of modern and sophisticated military hardware, regardless of leveling themselves into an offensive-and-defensive position, but with one particular aspect – and that is  to defend and destroy,  this  may become catastrophic situation and may eventually trigger to the end of the world. Just an opinion.

An Online Business For Web Designer And Developer

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

A friend of mine, a web developer came up to me and asked if I have any idea on how to start a business online. I, a web designer for one can not believe that I’m making a business of the internet much so that I got intrigued and excited about him making an effort to start an online business. He already has a very high salary already, working as a head web developer of a very known company. So I already have an idea that my friend wouldn’t quit his job anytime soon. But I’m quite happy for him for making the effort of starting his own business and earn an income online.

He was my professor back in college, having the same passion for learning, he is very successful with his career and so am I on my chosen path. He asked me, “What’s the best blogging platform?’. I said wordpress, 99% of blogs are wordpress. He already have an idea on how to get started but really have no clue of the process of actually making money. I asked “What’s cooking?” he said, “I went up looking at an entrepreneur magazine looking up for a business to start, then I realized I’m a web developer. There must be some way to make business out of it. Then I remembered you. You are the prof now. Can you help me?”

Of course I can. Here are some of the tips that I said to him.

* Blog about your passion if its profitable – Many people will say that, blog about your passion. Well it depends, you don’t want to starve do you? You must take priority of your needs first so you can quit your job early. If you can blog about your passion and there’s a market for it. Go for it. That’s 2 birds in 1 stone. Know if the topic is profitable first then make a site around it. Personally, I’m a believer of delayed gratification. The first things we have to do when making a business online is to get paid and not starve. Blogging about my passion may give me the joy, but its useless to continue if I starve. What’s the point of doing business and quitting your job then if you can’t make a living about your passion?

* Invest in yourself – The reason why most people fail in business, especially making money online is that not many people are willing to sacrifice and spend some money to learn. Bloggers are known to be tech savvy and will do anything to get things for free. But real entrepreneurs know the value of knowledge so much that they are willing to spend time and money to attain it. I had an experience wasting 10000 pesos trying to learn PPC. Did it really went to waste? No! I learned PPC a little bit and might take more money to get a grasp on it. But I’m willing to spend to educate myself.

* Stop reading make money online blogs – The best way to make money online is to go out there and try it yourself. Shed some money if you have to. That will be your foundation. Just stop reading make money online blogs. No offense to the make money online bloggers, I know its their passion to blog about making money. But being a newbie once in this field, make money online blogs didn’t really help. Its better to read SEO blogs for SEO, affiliate marketing for making money as an affiliate or self improvement blogs for your business mentality. If I have found a good make money online blogs and teach people the truth and really make money, I would gladly advertise it on my site.

* Learn SEO – This is the bread and butter of online business. Learn real SEO from keyword research to promoting a site. Stop reading make money online blogs. Learn from the real experts in SEO read SEOmoz, or ask at webmaster forums.

* Choose only 1 type of monetization – If you’re going for adsense, go for it and no more. Do not put competition on your page. There is the thing we call in business “Diversification’ this is true as to not put all your eggs in one basket. But it doesn’t mean put all banner ads or adsense on the page that you can fit. In reality, what it means is that, don’t put all your effort into 1 site. Putting thousand of ads in your site will not only make your site look desperate, it will lack the credibility for affiliate offers and direct advertisers.

* Choose a niche – Blog about a specific niche. Do not blog about anything under the sun. If you’ll be monetizing the site with direct advertising, you know that these companies only want people that are viewing the ads that are related to their interest. Would you sell a guitar to a piano player? Having to blog anything without any specific topic will give advertisers the second thought of advertising with you. Its because your viewers and traffic are junk that came from different sorts of life.

* Quit your job when you’re making twice as much online – This should have been my goal back then when I quit my job. It could’ve been a lot easier. It took me about 3 hard and sleepless months stumbling and starving to get my passive income as much as my day job and another 3 months to double it. Well its a good strategy to quit early though, for me, I had fun, if I didn’t make money within this certain period of month, I’m gonna fail my parents and die hungry.
